Andy Warbutton (# 24 Shoeless Joe's) picked up his third Tribospec / Sunoco Lubricants Ontario Legends feature win of the year, after following Steve Navritil for thirteen laps and taking over top spot on the next circuit around the track.

At the drop of the green flag, it was Chad Windsor (#5 Wright Excavating) and Frank Johnston (#20 Kriska Transport ) side-by-side for the lead, while directly behind them, it was Rob Degeer (#37 H B Cycle) and Navritil (#55 Super Tint Inc) side-by-side for third spot.
Things started to sort themselves out a couple laps later when Johnston drifted high exiting turn two, falling back to fifth position.
Warbuton, who started deep in the field, had made his way up to fourth by lap two.
Navritil was then able to get under Degeer down the backstraight and into second, Warbutton followed him through and into third.
With Windsor now leading on lap seven, Navritil again went to the low side and took over the top spot. Again, Warbutton followed him through.
Navritil and Warbutton then quickly opened up a sizable advantage over a large battle for third spot, between Degeer, Bill Mason (#4 Cathy's Creative Sewing ), Windsor, Kevin Fletcher (#1 Broad Way's Well Drilling), Johnston, Bruce Grimes (#42 Tribospec / Sunoco Lubricants) and Gord Foss (#94 Sunoco / Foss Transport).
With just over ten laps remaining, Warbutton took a peek under Navritil as the pair raced into turn one. The two then brifley locked bumpers before separating. Warbutton was then able to drive under and into the lead.
“Fortunately, we were able to drive out of the situation,” Warbutton said.
At the finish line, it was Warbutton, Navritil, Degeer, Grimes and Mason.. . . . . Results
Winning Legends heat races were Bruce Grimes, Rob Degeer, Frank Johnston and Steve Navritil. . . . . .

Editor's Notes - Nicole Yarrow, involved in a wreck in practice that took her #8 out for the night, drove the 42 car in the heats (qualified the car) but after being involved in another wreck in her second heat gave up her seat to Bruce Grimes for the feature. Bruce's 88 car was damaged in a spectactular crash with Adam Cuthbertson's 79 in his last heat. That crash took both the 88 and 79 out for the night.
